February 1st 2013 - IELC Sports Day
Children performed various sports drills followed by exciting novelty races some of which involved their parents as well.
Jan 25th 2013 - Republic Day Celebrations
Children shared their wishes to make their country a better place on the occasion of Republic Day followed by flag hoisting.
10th December 2012 - Fancy Dress
The children dressed up in various costumes that reminded everyone of Christmas.
8th December 2012 – Christmas Carnival
Christmas carnival was hosted for our primary children as well as children from other schools. The children enjoyed a wonderful day at the carnival. The carnival was hosted in aid of the Remote Learning Centre at Shankarpally and we raised more than Rs 40,000 from selling children’s artwork, calendars, food etc. All proceeds from the carnival went towards developing the RLC.
The highlight of the event was a visit from Santa Claus. The children also enjoyed the games, art activities, and the bouncy castle.

Informative and interactive session was conducted for the parents to gain an insight into what goes on in the classroom
9th November 2012 - Musicians Day
Children performed with great confidence showcasing their vocal and instrumental development at the first Musicians Assembly.

Children enjoyed dressing up in their favorite costumes on Character Day.

Book Fair by Scholastic.
24th September 2012 – Elocution Day
Children spoke with confidence at the Elocution competition.
September 24th – September 28th 2012 DEAR (Drop Everything and Read Week)
Students thoroughly enjoyed the DEAR week listening to various stories.
Story telling specialists were invited from Treasure House to conduct a story telling session.
Parents came in to read, making the Drop Everything and Read Week very special.
21st September 2012 – Peace Day
The IELC celebrated Peace Day on September 21st where children shared great ideas to bring peace to the world.
31st August 2012 – Tea with Grandparents
The children of IELC had a spectacular time doing artwork with their grandparents.
Leadership Starts Young
Manasi Katuri from IELC- Hyderabad speaks about Leadership. In her words, "They say Leaders are not born they are made. We practice becoming leaders at school every day. Our leadership curriculum has 5 objectives: Communication, Reflection, Responsibility, Goal settings and Community standards. To all our budding leaders, we say, Leadership definitely starts young.
